Scott Kardenetz is a 27 year veteran of the behavioral healthcare industry and has held senior leadership positions with companies such as Ardent Health Services, Psychiatric Solutions, Universal Health Services and Charter Behavioral Health. He has extensive experience in developing facility operational success in both the clinical and business arenas. Scott’s operational expertise includes direct facility leadership, extensive multi-site management, as well as de novo projects and acquisitions. Scott’s success is rooted in his commitment to improve patient and family experience. He accomplishes this by developing existing and future leaders to identify and spread business, clinical and operational best practices that keep families and patients in the center.
Chief Financial Officer
Scott Sarnacke is a certified public accountant with over 10 years of experience with a national accounting firm where he served mid-market private equity clients across a wide range of industries. Scott spent the last four years as the Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Foundations Recovery Network. Scott oversaw the finance, accounting and revenue cycle functions through a period of tremendous growth that culminated in a sale to a strategic investor in 2015.
Chief Marketing Officer
Vicki Smith has dedicated over 30 years to bridging the gap between mental health and substance abuse need and treatment intervention. She has experience ranging from direct client care to admissions and marketing. In partnership with community, facility and corporate leaders she has led marketing, business development and clinical outreach strategies to help connect people to care. Vicki’s career path spans UHS, Ardent Health Services, Psychiatric Solutions and most recently HCA.
John Coleman, MSW, ACSW
Chief Compliance Officer
John Coleman has over 28 years of experience working in both public and private mental health delivery settings. He has provided on-site program development, management, consultation, staff development, regulatory compliance, and turnaround services at over 150 psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient programs and behavioral health units in the United States. John’s areas of expertise include outcome oriented programming, intake and assessment systems, documentation, treatment planning, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and risk management.
Vice President of Development
Bill Parsons has over 30 years of experience in behavioral healthcare working with adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. He has a strong foundation in leadership with roles as Chief Executive Officer at Timberline Knolls, as Chief Administrator of the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, and as Associate Executive Director of Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, where he led a system-wide Psychiatric Services Steering Committee to develop a new strategic plan for Vanderbilt Psychiatric Services, including outpatient and partial services. As the founder of Ventures Healthcare, Bill was responsible for providing psychiatric services to medical/surgical hospitals and community mental health centers. His operational leadership has allowed him to continuously drive value and provide improvement through best practices that elevate clinical performance for families and clients. Bill has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and M. Ed in Counselor Education from Auburn University, a Certificate of Gerontology and Ph.D. of Counselor Education from the University of Florida.
Maribel Quiala, LCSW
Vice President of Clinical Services and Regulatory Compliance
Maribel Quiala brings over 18 years of behavioral healthcare experience providing clinical and regulatory support to dozens of psychiatric hospitals and programs in her roles as Divisional Director of Clinical Services at UHS and Regional Clinical Director at CHS. She also served as Director of Clinical Services for 14 years at Fort Lauderdale and Atlantic Shores Hospitals. She is nationally recognized for highly effective and insightful training, inclusive facilitation, and dynamic speaking with groups of diverse ages, industries, and cultural backgrounds. Maribel has assisted organizations, employees, and leaders at all levels to establish new partnerships and introduce changes, such as implementing new business models, organizational restructuring, and coordinating self-directed teams. Her areas of expertise include program delivery, support of facility-based clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, policy development, and staff training. Maribel holds a BA in Psychology from Seton Hall, an MSW from Barry College and has completed a year of study at the prestigious Executive Leadership Program at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.
